So who is Steve Gears Associates?

Steve Gears Associates was set up in 1999 by Steve Gears. Steve, an electronic engineer by qualification, has been working in the training and consultancy arena since 1982. The seven years prior to setting up Steve Gears Associates were spent managing the training development and training delivery processes of two UK organisations. One was a reprographic equipment manufacturer and the other an IT Service group. As an experience instructor, he spent many years prior to that delivering technical training in the area of computer hardware, computer operating systems, and engineering problem solving. He is well versed in the management of the training function, from resource management, project planning, business continuity planning, through to training design and development, and sales support.

In the past few years Steve has developed a number of web sites for his own business ventures using HTML, JavaScript, and Microsoft FrontPage, and has also assisted in the development and marketing of web sites for other small businesses. He recognised that he could pass on his experience to other organisations and entrepreneurs, so they could circumvent some of the mistakes he made in the early days of learning about the Web environment.
