Frequently Asked Questions

If you cannot find an answer to your question below, please contact us and we'll give you the information you need.

What do you charge?

All charges are negotiated with clients on an individual assignment basis. However we can assure you that the cost of training each delegate, when we run a training workshop for a group of six or more people on your site, will be competitive when compared to the costs of sending your delegates offsite to a similar public course run by another training organisations.

What are your normal Terms and Conditions?

To see our standard Terms and Conditions for UK based work, click here. For work outside the UK, Terms and Conditions would have to be agreed on an individual assignment basis.

Why is your training workshop better than a seminar or training course on the same subject?

With a seminar, the audience is usually too large for any one individual to receive much personal attention from the presenter. There will be little opportunity for practical application of the knowledge being presented. For a typical training course, whilst there may be opportunities to perform practical exercises, these will often be based on pre-defined exercises, with little time to work on real life situations. SGA blend theory, exercises and working on real world issues, to make the learning experience for each individual more relevant to them. Our aim is that all delegates leave a workshop having achieved their own personal objectives and with some useful results from having addressed one of their own or their organisations real world issues.

What makes you think you can help me improve my business when you have no experience of my industry?

Whilst we accept that we cannot possibly have intimate knowledge and experience of all industries, the main thrust of our consultancy and training workshops is to give you the tools you need to harness your own skills, expertise and industry knowledge in more focused and innovative ways than you may have otherwise considered. The tools we use are powerful, but general purpose because they are mainly aimed at modifying the thinking process rather than being too industry specific.

I'd like to train one person. Do you run any public workshops which they could attend?

We do not currently run public versions of our workshops. However, if we receive enough demand from organisations or individuals, we would certainly consider organising a public workshop. Normally we advise clients that workshops need between six and ten delegates to allow individuals to gain the most from interaction with other delegates, and to be cost effective. If you have less than six people, are there any other organisations which you work closely with (such as your suppliers) who may also benefit and who would be willing to share costs? Let us know of your requirements and we will consider how we can help you.
